When it's just not okay….

So, I have debated posting this for a while now….I wrote it last Sunday and never published it. However, today just felt a little like a good day to share:

I laid in my Eno today and thought about life and how mine has changed drastically in two years. I have so many desires and dreams. Anxiety began to overwhelm my heart. The worries, the heartache over family choices and decisions, the chaos of work, and friends leaving. It was a mess. ……….but then the Lord stilled my heart. He reminds me that this is just a season. This too shall pass.

In that moment, I have come to know that it's okay to be not be okay. It's okay to feel defeated for a moment. It's life and what it deals. It's okay. However, under no circumstances is it okay to stay that way. I have had to lean on my rock, my Savior, Redeemer, and Friend to realize that it's okay. No one knows this season that we are in. No one knows what it feels like, and I personally don't know every little thing that you are walking through. That's when God reminds me that He is my closest friend. He is the only one that knows every emotion, every tear shed, every anxiety attack, every sleepless night, every worry. He is only one that knows those drives home from places, where the little drops of water fall out of my eyes. He is the only one. 

So friends, tonight I encourage you to know that whatever you are going through, you never walk alone, when you know Jesus. He walks with you. He knows every tear shed, every fear, every pain, every sorrow, every worry, every dream, and every desire. He knows. Don't worry, because this too shall pass. One day your dream will come true, it may not be the way we would dream it, or the time we would plan it, but IT'S COMING. and coming Soon. The bible says and promises to us in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow in keeping His promises….".

Seth and I have so much to look forward to for the end of this year. I cannot wait to share some of our bucket list moments with you, as we check those off. :) We are Praying for you as you walk through life, remember you're not alone. Seth and I also would love to pray specifically for you and with you in agreement. We are never more than a text, call, or lunch date away. Love you guys.
